Graduate Program

Foundations of Yoga Therapy

Program Overview

The Foundations of Yoga Therapy program is designed to expand and deepen yoga teachers’ knowledge and skills, empowering them to create individualized yoga programs and therapeutic yoga classes. This intensive course provides a holistic approach to healing, integrating both Eastern and Western methodologies to support clients’ physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic well-being.

Yoga Therapy bridges the gap between yoga and many other health professions. As its popularity grows, it is becoming widely recognized as an effective and complementary healing art by physiotherapists, chiropractors, psychologists, naturopaths and physicians. The Foundations of Yoga Therapy Program will provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for using yoga therapeutically in integrative clinics, studios, and community centers.

This intensive program of study offers a holistic approach to therapy, looking at the person as a whole. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the application of yoga techniques to support their client’s healing on all levels of their being – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic.
